Wicked dude, latest code is a blinder, it's sooooo stable, I just want her to fly longer, and smoother so the double 5aH battery setup of the Hexa seems like a logical next-step. Phuket was awesome by the way, other than the constant "tuk-tuk?, new suit?, Ping Pong show?, Massage?" (like direct Spamming really isn't it?), the people were bloody lovely. Still keen to do Bangkok as a stopover on our next trip, and check out your R&D dept. I'm fairly useless, but if there's any work you want to offload, I'll be happy to help the Drone cause mate. Test fly, autoCAD & Laser up some parts. You name it, I'm keen to join your army. All the best,

Owen, there will be quad to hexa set available on somepoint. When.. Don't know yet but we try to get it out as soon as possible. Also plain hexa frames will be available shortly. We are still doing final assembly/parts details for them as building Assembled kits to see that all parts are there.

Can us poor people just buy two more arms, motors, escs, and the center plates and pimp our Quads out to be Hexacopters, or is there more to it than that?

PWR distribution board is a PCB board that has copper on 1 side (hexa model might have 2 sides) and users can solder either Dean's connectors on edge of board or solder ESC power cables directly to same edge area of PCB. There is two holes for battery input on this PCB. Also PCB has connectors for ESC, they can be used as for PWM signaling or I2C depends on how users will connect it.

I will post more pictures about it on next week when I receive first protos from factory.

This mockup picture does not have PWR PCB. If you look ArduCopter 3D for Quad only, you can see how PWR PCB will be placed on the frame. Same PCB will fit on this frame and currently i'm working to create PWR distro board for Hexa configurations. I will fit on same holes like quad PCB but just having 2 extra connection slots.

Also we are working on Tri configuration...
