tja, summer and time to play.
that's what i'm missing... really nice video!
When using small motors and props, it got off the ground at~60% throttle, and did about same air time.
But bigger setup gets it off the ground at 25~30% throttle.
Actually on my quad frame same motors/esc/props/Lipo and 1.4KG frame (overall) i was geting ~16min in the air and i was flying much more aggressive :)
hi,
larger propellers result in an increased efficiency.
your air time is simply great.
something to think about :)
thanks robert
its 1.2 KG. 400g of it; is 5000mah 3S lipo :)
I did some tests with BC2836-11 750KV and 10X4.7 props. ESC 30A got ~20min in air.
ACM's PIDs
P/R P=0.6 I=0.01 D=0
YAW P=0.9 I=0.05 D=0
hi max,
it would be interesting to see your pid values.
in contrast to the overall weight.
i quess your copter is quite heavy.
but it looks really nice.
