In MP there are three rssi-related field, having to do with local and remote 3DR radio rssi, and the rxrssi value for when you want to monitor the RC rx signal via APM and minimosd. On APM Planner I could only find the "rssi" field so didn't know war it represents, and whether its controlled by RSSI_PIN or RSSI_RANGE parms.
Also not able to add "user setting" (fields) to HUD like on MP by right-click. Is HUD modifiable with stuff like battery values, rxrssi, amps, etc?
Regards
Mike
Can someone please do a side by side comparison of Mission Planner Vs. APM Planner? Is one better than the other or better for fixed wing/Multirotor, etc?
It's very confusing the way these are implemented. One could easily be confused that APM Planner is the new Mission Planner and Vice versa.
Updated to 2.07, and fixed. If you download 2.0.6 you will be automatically notified of the new version. Thx
@Luis: Thanks for the message of support. I updated the image to reveal the full country name ;)
... small question. I 've missed TCP connections for telemtry in APM Planner 2.0 RCx, i could find only UDP. I used this feature on tablets and with APM Planner1.x ... is it back, or did i something wrong?
Best C. but anyway, congratuations!
@Dave: Please raise the issue here APM Planner Support Forum and I'll take a look in the morning
I'm having a minor issue with this release. On a MacMini running 10.9 and RC3 I am able to connect to a new board with no problem. With my MacBook Air with 10.8 and 2.0.6 I can't get any data on the HUD after connecting.
This error will show up eventually: Please check if the baud rates of APM Planner and your autopilot are the same.
And if I wait a little longer this message will show up: Your MAVLink device seems to use the deprecated version 0.9, while APM Planner only supports version 1.0+. Please upgrade the MAVLink version of your autopilot. If your autopilot is using version 1.0, check if the baud rates of APM Planner and your autopilot are the same.
I am going to dig a little deeper to make sure its nothing on my end. I've installed the FTDI drives twice now. Thanks for all your hard work.
Thank you
Best Regards
