Hi, I know I come 2 years later...
But for who come here from a google search or another way, here is the solution :
On the Turnigy 9x(r), go in your model settings, you will found at the bottom of the first setting page (1/11) the E.limits setting (extreme limits), enable it, then go to Limits page (6/11), increase the value of the channel 3 to have a PWM value below 780. Then make you failsafe settings on the receiver (push the bind button one time), replace your normal settings on the 9x(r) and you're done.

The difference between these two is telemetry and no telemetry. I've got the older, no-telemetry model. Get the telemetry model... it's cheaper (!) and I think they're phasing out the non-telemetry units.
