Michael Oborne has released a Windows GUI version of his great program to interface ArduPilot/APM with Xplane and FlightGear.
It's working well for me. Can you check it out and see how it works for you?
Instructions for setting up ArduPilot and sims are here.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry i was just checking as the manual was written for those who wish to setup x-plane -> ArduPilot before this new piece of software was released. I know the answer to this question is probably also in a manual somewhere but most manuals are being superseeded by new additional hardware and software being released, the simulator is responding to my input on the transmitter for Aileron and Elevator but rudder does not appear to be working and also no throttle. Do i still need to make the 2 wire connections on the bottom of the ArduPilot board, the manual that talks about that also refers to the thermopiles and not IMU+ V2, if im using IMU+ V2 (flat) do i still need to make these wire connections. And it also mentions NOTE: Most people are having better luck using PIN 11 as the throttle input as opposed to PIN 13 is this a choice or is this decided in the software. Many thanks for being patient with me.
Regards,
Tony
So if i use this program (Xplane/Flight gear interface for ArduPilot APM) with Ardupilot 2.7 and IMU V2+ (flat) and Xplane, what other software do i need or does this BETA program replace SerProxy etc??
Regards,
Tony Brock
Is this a closed source app?

Im wondering what people want, do you want a single exe, that does what you think it would, or if i include some other dlls we can have graphs? what do you guys think? The exe should run on any dot net install version 2 or greater. And should run on mac and linux if you have mono installed. (untill i add all these dlls, that is)
