Good Work.

If you don't have a 3D printer then download files and find a 3D printer near you @

Hey Paul!,

MakeXYZ looks like an amazing site for just this purpose!  I'm going to add MakeXYZ to the list.  Do you happen to know anyone who is associated or owns the website?

No I learn about it on Dennis Baldwin Youtube channel. :-) I just use it once in a while for a local printer until I get my own printer hehe.

Awesome! In class this upcoming summer we spent the whole semester building a 3D printer out of 3D printed pieces and using printerbot hardware and software. I'm very excited we get to keep them. I'm working on finding a company to sell me a bulk amount of low cost 3D printers that I can sell to the cad drones community.

I have been playing around with a fully 3D printed fixed wing aircraft. I have seen a few seemingly successful printed planes on Thingiverse but given all the popularity of 3D printing it seems as though not many people have tried it.

I can upload some of my initial SketchUp models if anyone is interested, though I haven't really done anything that couldn't be done in an afternoon from scratch.

Hey Josh, please feel free to upload all or any files to CADDrones. Filling up the database with even simple stuff is needed. Even stuff that is simple and takes only an afternoon could save the next person down the roads who needs that particular part a lot of time. :)

I'm setting up sketchup, inventor, creo, solidworks, and various other categories to the database as we speak.

There is a ~$200 delta around somewhere, DeltaPrintr or something. I keep coming up with ideas for bits and pieces to make.

I will try to upload some of my 3D plane stuff from SketchUp today, would be good to see what people think. I am no aeronautical engineer so there will probably be a bunch of things that could be fixed.
