CropCam UAV for sale (used)

We have a cropcam which we are looking to sell. It comes with all hardware and software needed to fly. It also comes with a laptop computer that has a recent update to all Microsoft office software ($670). It also comes with several spare servos, parts and four batteries thunderpower batteries with an astro charger for the batteries. Two optio A20 cameras will be included for an extra $100 but the lens doesn't always open on one and the LCD is broke on the other. We are asking $6500 for the package ($8500 value). The plane has a few minor dings and fixes but is definitely flight ready. It has made only a few flights since it was sent in to cropcam for a repair and test flight.     @Ismail Ibrahim: UAV technology being export restricted I doubt he would. Hefty fines and jailtime would follow.

    Actually, I see from their Ning random ad banner on the right, that "CropCam" is Canadian.

    Right, but CropCam and the people over at RCAPA have a big problem.

    Oh well, just move up here to Canada... lots of open friendly skies.
    (but unfortunately not so many A/P customers)

    It's sounds just like Condor said... -don't request a waiver, don't file a plan, don't make a big deal, and pack up before the hammer comes down!

    We have never had any problem with the FAA. We let the crop dusters in the area know when we are flying and were. We never fly over populated areas or near an airport. Things seem to work out fine and since the UAV weighs 6 LBS. it would be hard for it do much more than snap a couple pictures.

    Many of the members of this site have done amazing things with geomapping, including some realtine 3D projects.

    The pictures have the potential to be very useful with the right processing. We can find areas of interest in our own fields because we know what we are looking for but to be a viable business the photots would need to be processed to the point that they could be accuratly georefferenced. People are working on that process.
