Hi all,
ok.. it was my fault. I usually buy online, I usually pay immediatly (because i'm an honest guy) and I wait for my items.
This time happens to me, probably the first time, to realize i've bought wrong items.
I would like to build my first quadcopter and Arducopter project is interesting.. but Arducopter project is at the first, alpha, stage. So.. probably not a good project, not a tested software for my purpose.
Probably not tested hardware ... will I be surprised if a new version will be released soon, after first delivery ?
After understood that, i said "Ok.. no problem.. OilPan shield is in pre-order". So.. probably i can ask to cancel my order, because items are not available yet and it's impossible they already ship them.
After 2 days I've sent an email to ask to cancel my order. Answer is :
"Once orders have been payed for they cannot be canceled. This is specified under the payment information when you check out to place you order"
That's all!
Fine.. No itemes available (pre-order), but no money back. I can not cancel my order. I could agree to pay, i don't know, we can say ...10% of cost, as "Order Management fee". No.. it's not possible.
Unfriendly.
This is just a warning for buyers : read carefully "Term & Conditions" before buy anything !!
It's not a school test : here you can not do a mistake !
What happens now ? Ok.. i will wait for OilPain.. and i will not buy at this store anymore.

“Order cancelations/refunds are allowed only in the fallowing conditions:
1. - When we cannot longer provide one or more items of the actual order (i.e. discontinued parts).
2. - When one or more items of the actual order are not expected to be shipped in more than 30 days.
3. - When one or more items of the actual order is marked as “In Stock” but it was actually “Out of Stock”
In my order i have OilPan, but also magnetometer. Magnetometer is marked as "In Stock" because i can add to Cart but Edna (from Store) confirm me it's "Out of Stock". Nowhere in website is written Magnetometer is "Out of Stock", as happens for other items i can not add to Cart. It's not written Magnetometer is "Out of Stock". So, this is exactly the situation described at point 3 and this means i have right to cancel/refund my order.
I already asked to Edna to refund me. Hope Store respect its Terms and Conditions.
Once again... store policy may not usurp state or federal laws. In addition, as a condition of having a merchant account (which allows them to accept credit cards), stores must also comply with merchant policy as set forth by the card network.
As far as the comment which stated "this is a personal thing between you and the store" - tell it to all the folks on Amazon, who publicly rate their experience shopping at a particular store (as well as with a particular product). I don't see you telling them "this is between you and the manufacturer!" The greater public good is served by making these type of things public. That should be obvious.
We do our best to be responsive and transparent (which is why the moderators approved this open discussion), but we also ask for understanding from our customers. We're an open source community, not Amazon. We're doing our best to develop technology at the fastest possible pace at the lowest possible price. But we're only human.

NardsS....Scott has made you a very fair offer, one would suggest you think seriously about it..
Im not sure where Italians are concerned in this conversation......
But if i understand what you mean then, yes domestically for a purchase in ones own country, you have the right to return any item in 7 days (UK anyway) , however, international orders are a completely different thing, the rules do not apply in the same way.
How do i know this? well, we have shops in every continent on the planet, including one in Spilimbergo, Italy, shipping internationally is a very difficult thing, also VERY expensive for any errors committed.
However, if somthing you have ordered has been sent correctly, with out error, its a very expensive thing for the supplier to put right because you have changed your mind...
Im am not saying that you are right or wrong..simply that AGAIN..this should be kept between YOU, the purchaser, and the STORE, the vendor.
For the record, before you question my motives, i also am a purchaser like you.
regards,
Mike
