Hi all,
ok.. it was my fault. I usually buy online, I usually pay immediatly (because i'm an honest guy) and I wait for my items.
This time happens to me, probably the first time, to realize i've bought wrong items.
I would like to build my first quadcopter and Arducopter project is interesting.. but Arducopter project is at the first, alpha, stage. So.. probably not a good project, not a tested software for my purpose.
Probably not tested hardware ... will I be surprised if a new version will be released soon, after first delivery ?
After understood that, i said "Ok.. no problem.. OilPan shield is in pre-order". So.. probably i can ask to cancel my order, because items are not available yet and it's impossible they already ship them.
After 2 days I've sent an email to ask to cancel my order. Answer is :
"Once orders have been payed for they cannot be canceled. This is specified under the payment information when you check out to place you order"
That's all!
Fine.. No itemes available (pre-order), but no money back. I can not cancel my order. I could agree to pay, i don't know, we can say ...10% of cost, as "Order Management fee". No.. it's not possible.
Unfriendly.
This is just a warning for buyers : read carefully "Term & Conditions" before buy anything !!
It's not a school test : here you can not do a mistake !
What happens now ? Ok.. i will wait for OilPain.. and i will not buy at this store anymore.

the option to buy or not to buy is/was with you. You choose to buy it. If you choose to ignore the terms and conditions . then there is not much to say. The option to cancel or not is choice of store. Though you mentioned that the orders cannot be canceled once paid , you still choose to word it as if it was mistake of store. Which of course it is not. this is what you can do. You can receive your order and resell it here ( post it in sale/wanted section of forum)again if that helps to mitigate your problem.
The fact that this site allows( unlike many others) you to post such comments ( in spite of your mistake while ordering) reflects the candidness and transparency that is backbone of this community. Moderators could have deleted this post but choose not to, tells you/us something. Hope you appreciate it. You can mouth your experience/grievance with out making it personal attack & one sided will be well received IMHO. Thank you.
Its not about right and wrong, my point is that this conversation is between teh shop and him...not the forum, its clearly written in the rules..
Having said this, my personal feelings would reflect frustration IF what he is saying is accurate and all the facts are in.
There are 2 sides to every story.
regards,
Mike
"moderator hat off" - while I can understand your frustration, I don't know exactly what transpired ( nor I should...).... We all can appriciate that you are an honest guy , as you state in your post, however I do not like potential insinuation that other partt ( DIYdrones store) is dishonest. We all dealt with people behind this store, and I have nothing but praises for them. I also think that great deal of this community shares the sentiment.
I hoe that you resolve your situation to everyones liking and continue to be a member of DIYdrones community
Probably not tested hardware ... " "So... probably i can ask to cancel my order..."
Man, seriously, your problem is turning around your own "probabilist" point of view.
I understand your frustration, but I'm sure you're attacking the wrong target.
Before you buy something you should read about, get more information. All on this site is about information, that comes from everywhere and from everyone.
"Terms & Conditions" is the last part of your problem. There are a lot of other things about the product you chosen that you passed without know... and you bought without to know what you was buying.
Sincerely and with all respect, think better. In my opinion, even now, if you start reading about it, you'll see that you made a great buy. But it is you who decides.
Calm down... All this hate don't leaves anyone to anywhere.
Best regards.
