DIY Drones - South African Chapter first general meeting

Hear ye! hear ye! On this 5th day of the month of February in the year 2010 it happened, the first get together of the South African Chapter of DIYDrones!

I would say it turned out very successful, starting off very informal then quickly turning in to a storm of ideas lasting quite a few hours. Hopefully the first of many!

Sarel will post some more info on ideas and decisions made.

Next meeting of the South African chapter Tomorrow, Wednesday 10 March from 17h00 at More Pub/Restaurant in Centurion, corner of Golf Avenue and Mashie Avenue. If you cannot make 17h00, we be there till late me thinks ;)

Haha... I'm studying in Potch at the moment, found a few UAV nuts here as well... Using the Paparazzi board.. Wits will also be trying to break the solar/endurance record this year as far as I know... So a wonderful year for UAV's ect... Lets go 2010..

We will get a date and announce when we are having the next meeting. Will have to be in Centurion or Midrand. Planning for some time in March.
