The cost is $109.90, which is a bit cheaper than buying the module (if Sparkfun ever gets it back in stock) and the necessary adapter and cable separately, and these these come pre-programmed for ArduPilot, saving you a huge hassle involving making a custom connector for you FTDI cable and messing about with uBlox settings in their utility. It's designed to plug straight into the ArduPilot's GPS connecter--plug and play!

Mount it on top of your airframe the same as you would with the ceramic module, the aerodynamic bit is up to you.
The difference with this gps is truely amazing
I have only ever used the modules with the ceramic square flat antenna module and a copper ground plane, so the orientation on those is pretty obvious, (flat and on top of the model somewhere that doesn't do too much damage aerodynamically) - but with this one, I am unsure of the correct orientation of the Sarantel antenna. ANyone have any guidance / wisdom?
The adapters were meant for those who had bought the uBlox modules as stand-alone from Sparkfun. But I'm sure Jordi could accommodate those who want the modules by themselves. The problem is that they have to be programmed and that's a pretty fiddly processes. I tried and failed, so I had to send it to Jordi to do for me. If he sells modules by themselves, you'll probably want him to program them for you, too.
For those complaining about now having an extra adapter...
Jordi/Chris mentioned right away that the combo was to be available soon as a complete unit, so don't blame them just because you didn't wait!

with helical antenna, it should be mounted vertically for best reception.
