Talk about a game changer. A fully integrated FLIR camera with gimbal. Opens up a wide variety of uses and eliminates the need for a hodge podge of different components to install a FLIR/Gimbal on one of the most frequently used UAS systems for commercial work.

How is this equipment expected to be affected by ITAR export restrictions?
It's all about capturing the data and you can't do that with small copters, cheap gimbals and cameras designed for action sports. The Zenmuse gimbal allowed us to fly the highest quality cameras and that's what changed the game.

Yup hate to say it but DJI is killin it. Come on rest of industry,catch up! Be innovative! DJI isn't doing anything particularly innovative, most of it's fairly obvious, but they're the ones getting on with it and producing good commercial products and partnerships.
The solo has great potential. Wonder if the solo gimbal could be adapted (properly, by 3dr) for a FLIR unit. That would be awesome.
