Pleased with the way this has turned out for a Saturday project :-)
It compliments Arthur Benemanns DroidPlanner app to give a wireless link between the aircrafts radio and a Bluetooth connection to the Android tablet.
- Its fitted with a 1000mah LiPo battery and charge circuit which is chargeable by a small USB slot at the bottom of the unit.
- Ultrabright LEDs for the power and Bluetooth link for sunny days.
- BT LED blinks when there is no connection and goes solid when connection is made.

I'll look into throwing some instructions together :-)
ok then, lets go diy style.just tell us what to do :)
If I knew there was the demand, I would look to make a unit that was compatible with 3DRs radio and also the XBEE, so you could have what ever radio module you wanted.
But I would have to get the ABS cases, PCBs ready made etc etc which means investment.
When are you going to start selling them?
Thank you all. Yes it is low energy and also programmed so when a device is looking for a Bluetooth connection, it sees it as "DroidPlanner" :-)
Nice work Steve, what kind of Bluetooth does this use? Fingers crossed it's BT-Low Energy?
Good work Steven.
You mean between the Aircraft and the Bridge ? The Radio is an XBEE radio link.
How did you get UART out of the telemetry module?
