Adam could indeed be the base for that character.. that would not surprise me!!
The monkey is average at the moment, too many damn kids, but that's for another time, and another rant...
I'm not sure there's not a bit of Mr G in most of you Angus, just take Adam Barrow, I reckon he's the inspiration for him ;-) I have not Monkeyed for ages guess I should.
The NextG network covers 99% of the Australian population, with extensive coverage in the bush. Other networks offer less coverage, however 3G coverage from other major networks exceeds 90%.
Many bush locations are only served by one base station, avoiding the problem of noise from multiple sites.
Haha Gary, at least you know we're not all like Mr G then if you have lived here!! :-)
I get pretty good phone range up high. I think I have even uploaded some photos to the monkey (Gray knows) at 1000 odd feet... maybe higher.
bGatti, NextG surprisingly, actually has pretty good coverage of rural areas. I don't think I have been somewhere where it hasn't, and I have been in some pretty un-populated "back of nowhere" places.
I can tell you from fullsize flying cell phone reception is dodgy when up there, I think you confuse the system and open up too many towers, as well as the tower antennas pointing down.
Anyhow cell phones are not great when you are airborne, somebody here will know the proper reason.

QUT & ARCAA have done some great work here.
I come from Oakey QLD to give you an idea of how far out I am from. :P

It's QUTs/ARCAAs 'QUAS'.
My bet is this will be QUTs entry in this years UAV Outback challenge.
