Google Quad??

UK tech magazine reports that Google have bought a quad....

Hype from a manufacturer or are they playing UAS??

Fortune just reported it as well, we live in interesting times, maybe Google has enough clout to get the FAA to look at UAS use in the USA.

    Well its done Microdrone a world of good for their products!! Fair play to them but lets hope Google does not mind the privacy inferences and slight bad press its generating.

    @Don bigger motors have lower kv rating right ? does hobbyking sell them? your quad looks awesome ! specs ? :)

    Thanks Don, I like your setup. So the quad comes with kids :) It would be cool to see the larger one drop the smaller one from a height and then to see them both return by themselves.

    @Fab - big motors and 6s3p battery pack. However, the > 1 hour flight time is w/o payload.

    Sounds like Street View is going to get a whole lot more interesting. Maybe this is the new "Live" service.
