From Scientific Aerospace, makers of the Cyberquad, comes a new product that makes great use of the Solo platform: Same Solo controller and internals, but repackaged in a powerful Enterprise mapping platform.
Very nice product. I feel that Dronecode lacks entry level series of video tutorials though. Video tutorials could bring a lot more users in my opinion. I found my self "hitting a wall" when trying to know more about the project, if you know what i mean.
Did they buy a Solo and gut it? Or are they buying just the avionics parts?
It looks like the prop guards are printed. I wonder what the flight time is...
I've had the pleasure of seeing one of these, it's a nice product, based the Solo and developed here in Australia. They are using a high end GPS to produce high precision surveys.
Hopefully the creators can chime in and add more info.
Would love to know the price tag on this. I see on their site it looks like they are partnered with PIX4D for post processing. The 10mm horizon and 25mm vertical is difficult to believe but I hope it is accurate.
Using ducted fans on a multicopter is a non sense as explained by rcmodelreviews : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0stl1U9evzU
