The AUAV X2.1 is all about lessons learned. The X2 was a very successful board but there was still room for improvement. Following the PixRacer project we had time to invest into making the X2 the high quality PixHawk replacement we intended it to be. Major changes include: updated IMU sensors, power supply has been redesigned, headers have been laid out more logically, remote USB connector, industry standard 30.5mm mounting points.

Looks like a solid product. Very high on the list next time I need a new board.
I am a happy AUAV-X2 and pixracer customer and this one will be my next fixed wing controller. I like the size and still using pin header which is the best connector.

Yana
Hi guys,
Sorry for not participating lately, but we ( Bulgarian users ) couldn't access DIYDrones for a while for some reason.
Today I gained access of it again....seems someone fixed the problem.
About X2.1....I ported the bootloaders for both FMU and IOSoC, also tested the NSH, but as the sensors are new, compared to our old X2 and Pixhawk, the firmware needs some driver modifications.
Also, have some more pictures of TOP and BOTTOM sides:
Well done!
What are the differences between this an Pixracer? Do both have same set of sensors?
Is this board going to have plastic case as Pixracer?
Loving the pinhead as it is highly integrable for OEMs.
Well done
