The AUAV X2.1 is all about lessons learned. The X2 was a very successful board but there was still room for improvement. Following the PixRacer project we had time to invest into making the X2 the high quality PixHawk replacement we intended it to be. Major changes include: updated IMU sensors, power supply has been redesigned, headers have been laid out more logically, remote USB connector, industry standard 30.5mm mounting points.
Questions and comments are welcome!

Comments
No, the same sensors as of the Pixracer, but HMC5983 which is obsolete and there is no equivalent on the market.
I hope that the code porting will not take long as the MPU9250 and ICM20608 drivers are well developed and working fine in Pixracer.
So different sensors than Pixracer?
Rob, it will not work right out of the box without first implementing drivers adaptations in the Ardupilot firmware as they use new sensors.
Jon, I think that the X2.1 is pin compatible with Pixhawk, as the X2 was, so it should work right out of the box.
I'm not sure, but, I think that's what they're doing.
Thank's Nick, I apreciate the common connectors too, easy to find everywere, easy to assemble, less fail, this fc work's with pixracer firm?
I like this board for my next proyect :D
Looks great.
Just one question. Looking at the time frame between release and Ardupilot working on your Pixracer, will your AUAV 2.1 flight controller work out of the box with Ardupilot?
Hi Cala,
The holes are semiholes as the width is just 30mm while the holes grid standard is 30.5 x 30.5mm.
As we plan to offer a housing and housing STL files, we'll design a tight mounting even with semiholes.
Nice product Philip.
I'm curious why holes are only middle? isn't more difficult to fit?
You have idea to provide the case too?
Congrats Nick. Will be buying one !
Nice, looking forward to trying one. :)
Yeah, the Pin header is a plus/minus thing. They're big and bulky. But I do grow tired of trying to sort out cabling with other connector systems.
