Once again, the 3D Robotics team is going to have a big DIY Drones area at Maker Faire in San Mateo this weekend (picture from last year shown--we've got brand new banners this year ;-)). Come meet the team and Arduino leader Massimo Banzi (speaking at 3:00 on Saturday) and me (speaking about multicopter UAVs at 1:00 on Sunday)
We'll all be in the Expo Hall. All the new 3D Robotics goodies will be there and you can chat with the designers. We might even put some birds in the air, space permitting. It's the highlight of the year, so if you're in the Bay Area, don't miss it!
Here's part of the booth, with the new logo/banners:
I missed the Arduino presentation. I wonder if it was discussed as to when can we expect the ARM arduino.
Thanks to all who came to the Quadcopter UAV presentation on main stage. It was PACKED!
(From Make Magazine coverage of the presentation)
Swung by the 3DR booth and said hi to Jordi today. (Missed Chris though!) It definitely seemed like one of the most popular booths there. People loved seeing the tiny quad flying around, and wanted to know more about the bigger platforms. And besides making all the curious passerby happy, they were also well prepared to answer deeper questions. Great job 3DR!
Hope you guys have fun wish I could be there. Chris love the new shirts in the background are they avalible dont see them in the store ? See you all at AVC in Colorado
It was great to meet you guys!
See you in Colorado for AVC, if all my planning goes well
Looks like fun. Wish I could be there.
That must have cost a lot. Sparkfun was complaining about the cost of a booth to sell from being more than a house in 1988.
I might be down there on Sunday if I can.
Have a good show.
