Maiden and second flight videos

Here are videos from my maiden and second flight. First one ended with a bad crash on a garden house, my bad I didn't realize how much space I needed to fly it for the first time. The second one isn't complete as my girlfriend forgot to pack her memory card and we couldn't capture it all. On the second one I managed to control it in circles much higher than what you see in the video, but you'll have to take my word for it ;)

  • @Russel & @Paul Thanks for the details I don't know the exact terms yet :P

The first flight was in acro but the second one was in stable mode.

  • I use 25% expo on everything except throttle (but then I've got fat fingers:)).

I only ventured out of Stable mode once and I regretted it - if your first two flights were in acro mode you did really well to keep it in one piece!

Nice looking Quad, I'm sure it'll be lots of fun once you tame it.

  •  U can add 10% positive EXPO. to the elev & ali ch's to make it not so nervous.     U also should test fly your quad in stable mode.
  • You can adjust curves on your transmitter as to make the center region on a stick less responsive/more precise. By default everything is mapping linearly so 0% stick = 0% actual valu, 25=25, 50=50, 75=75 and 100=100. What you can do is map it so that 0=0, 25=35, 50=50, 75=65, 100=100, so this way the center 50% of the stick input will be mapped to a 30% output range. I don't know the most common values used but it's the way to do it.

hehe looks quick tricky... you mention that it only take very small input on the stick to react... do you think this can be adjusted to not be so sensitive?
