My Free Foam board 250 sized quadcopter plans.

I've been working on this project for about a month and a half. I was sick of replacing props and I wanted a lighter cheap frame. This frame with wood weighs 193grams. Hope someone out there enjoys it as much as I do.

Great Job! Why not a DTF (Dollar Tree Foam-board) quad?

It brings the price point down to the group project (schools) level and upgrades the prop safety.

A+ Jake!

Doug,

I'm sure it can be made out of dollar store foam. I designed it for 3/16 inch board. I like using Elmer's Foam from Walmart. it's like $2.00 and is nice and flat and bigger. The paper quality seems better to me. But to each his own. I also like black without paint or vinyl.

Thank you,

Jake

Very cool. Might be fun to use a pizza box and make them in small, medium and large. Pizza box racers are go. Create and destroy.
