Altimeter is a stand-alone, small, light and convenient unit for recording altitude and temperature changes throughout your flight. Perfect for non-droners and not so IT literate folks. I just bought one for a chap at my flying club that loves gliding at high altitudes, makes his own planes but doesn't do electronics :)
Interesting, but you get this for free with the APM. Just read the altitude of your logs.
