It's like the best of both worlds! APM software with a familiar white GPS puck and nice wasp-waist controller box. Just $98 at HobbyKing.

Is strange, missing motor outputs 7 and 8, only six rc input (pmw?), missing many useful external in/out connectivity.
Why should one buy a clone like that?
Buy the original! ;-)
Marc: From the product listing discussion: "It is not a naza clone. It is a clone of 3dr apm. It can run with mission planner etc. And it flyes like a dream... its more alike as nova quadcopter controller they are basically the same"
I posted this a couple weeks back, and it was a big snooze from the DIY droners:

It is cheaper than this (dubious APM) flight controller kit. It is real APM apparently. No cad files from what I see.
Five years ago the conversation would have gone long the lines of wow $98 thats half the price of a single GPS. There are plenty of flight controllers out there playing but not so many actually working.
Hi Chris,
I can see it seems to indicate that the chips used are basically the same as a PX4, but it is not at all clear it has anything like PX4 pinouts or IO or channel assignments.
Or that internal firmware is actually similar to let alone the same as PX4.
The net result from everything I can find is that it is definitely not Mission Planner compatible (our Mission planner anyway) and our firmware does not look like it can be remotely functionally loaded into it.
If somebody else has found other information I would greatly appreciate your publishing that link here.
Pretty case anyway.
Best regards,
Gary

I think 3DR still haven't any agent in china cause so many chinese company clone APM , of course, they have some limit tech support for user. and they are so cheap for chinese amateur.
I once opened the flight controller of NOVA quadcopter (clone of phantom) which is again a APM. the quality of PCB and soldering was not upto the mark. inside PCB was like from a cheap Chinese toy. the plastic housing from outside looks well finished but typically Chinese from inside. forget any support. it is a challenge to get any support from a Chinese company. we do need someone to come with a aluminum housing for APM, pixhawk.
The HK discussions do not seem to say it is an APM clone. Or they are very, very unclear. It seems to not do Tricopters so that would suggest it is not an APM clone.
Hi guys I am new in this topic well... I´d like to know if this fuctions like an Autopilot and what it is the software that create the route or the fly mission like waypoints, excuse me I am really new and I really want know more about it.
