Dear Friends, 

this is the first render of new Virtualrobotix enclosure design. Do you like it ? Suggestions about new design are welcome :)

The enclosure will be available on virtualrobotix shapeways shop until the molded version not be available .

    @Roberto,

    Reviewed the VR Micro Brain case and I like what I see so far.  Any idea when the file will be finalized and available to printing?  I assuming you've tested all aspects of the case design to this point.  How do you perceive this being mounted and vibration isolated?

    @Jethro,

    we put inside the enclosure special solution for isolate the vibration , the board will not fixed to the board but it is on the o-ring for cut the vibration .. we need to check exactly what kind of o-ring is better for cut the high frequency vibration.

    actually  i put the enclosure on thingiverse in alfa version for last revision from the community when all it's ok will be available in Shapeways.

    OK, you sold me!  I purchased the mini VR Brain 5.1 but I am unable to locate the shapeway file for the case.  Appreciate it if you could provide URL to the file location.  Thanks.

    An internally dampened IMU unit would be great, but I suppose this would require a design overhaul of the board...

    It's looking really beautiful by the way!

    Hey Roberto, these look great, just printed some of my design a few minutes ago. Yours look nice though :) Can't seem to see files on shapeways, please can you post links.

    Yes the telemetry link will be inside the enclosure ... we did some test and all is inside without problem.

    All nice design:-)

    Will you consider to enclose telemetry module on micro Brain5 enclosure ?

    The bottom side connector ruin everything the benefit of very compact micro Brain design. 

    Another thing is vibration dumping, etc.
