The UK-built solar-powered Zephyr aeroplane has been confirmed as a record-breaker following its non-stop two-week flight earlier this year.

Any idea what is the role of the white triangular fin on the rear part of the combined Pitot/alpha/beta probe ?

Thats an image of the first version, the new one has klingon wingtips, Adrian, a member here was one of the pilots.
