  • you know what i want to see, a enterprise version frame made from the material you use, i only have access to a laser cutter so i am stuck to plastics and organics

  • Heading out to get new tires on, let's touch base later.

  • these are for the "pod and boom" (center plate/arms configuration), not the "uni-frame" style frames

  • here's a pic of the top plates on the motor mount. They are interchangeable, so a customer can customize his copter.

Excuse the pic quality, I just shot it with my phone while here at the office.3692738712?profile=original

  • In truth just thinning down the arms would do.

  • I like going for the less is more approach and found that an outline can look very good, when i looked at the frames i noticed that fir a "fun flyer" they give huge amounts more structural support than is required.

I also thought that seeing as these are to look good they culd be modified, specifically i find the hint of a design often looks better as it sparks the imagination and thoughts. so i created a sketch in paint to demonstrate this, on the left is the original, center is showing the outline design and on the rite includes the connecting points.

This design reduces surface area quite a large amount but in my opinion looks great.

Your current design also looks great but to me long flights are a big deal.3692739021?profile=original

  • sure, I sent you a friend request, so respond back and we can communicate.

Being in graphics, signage, etc. for 30 yrs. I have all the toys in house to do just about anything. i.e. cnc router table, waterjet, laser, screen, sublimation, wide format print and my newest toy, a 3d printer!

I use ai, flexi, autocad, etc. and know g-code.

Been flying rc helis for yrs. and multis for a couple. Have a whole fleet of 'em

    Take care!

  • cool man, sure but i think you should make some alternative or possibly re think the design slightly, how do you manufacture them?

I could offer some ofmy design change opinions
