I just made it with DIY advises like (angle 28 degree between arms), the alu branch are 1 meter long for all !!!
With epoxy 3mm i've made the central.

very nice. It looks very stable; how much of that is the 'copter, and how much is the pilot? Do you need to adjust it or is it that stable by itself? Would you be interested in sharing more specifications? What made you decide to build an octo-v? Is it planned as a photography/videography platform? It reminds me, when it moves, of a Cylon Raider:
