Pixhawk no power to GPS after board is turned on. (SOLVED)

Yes i was watching the hobbit :)

Just a quick heads up for people new to the Pixhawk.

If youe plug the switch led into the wrong connector, it will cause the GPS to short so it will be intermittent sometimes and not work at all the other times.

And sometimes it will no have enough power

this is just to help anyone who has this issue.

also PX4 man!

i cannot wait to fly!

    yep, but silly me seeing a 3 pin plug and thinking it was an led only not a switch plugged it in thinking that was the only port

    How do you go about plugging the switch connector into the wrong port (which port did you plug it into?)  On the pixhawk its labelled "switch" ?
