hie,I have a project to complete and I am suppose to perform an automatic takeoff, but when I try to communicate with the UAV using the option kill throttle it does not respond. What could be the problem??....Is it the uplink?? How can I possibly solve the issue???
Ok if you are sure you are only having uplink problems check the tx pin on the autopilot. This .can be a problem sometimes because the horrible (in my oppnion) picoblade connectors they use
If that doesn't help at all and you are sure that everything is hooked up right make sure the modems are in half duplex.

One other question guyz. I'm trying to move between AUTO1 and AUTO2. The normal procedure is to click on strip with the status displayed and set it to AUTO2. However, when click and say YES , it only moves to AUTO1. I want to start the flight plan directly from AUTO2 rather than taking off and then changing to AUTO2.
Ok we're using the Tiny v1.1 and we have downlink working. We checked this by testing out IR system, the GPS positioning. However , we're not sure about the uplink. So to test this I gave the throttle a bit and attempted the kill throttle switch. The plane did not respond. It does not respond to any commands. However we are recieving information coming from the plane. We are using the Digi XBee Pro 2.4GHz (802.15.4, "Series 1") . Is there any other way to test the uplink to the Tiny controller?
I am using tiny 1.1, and the kill throttle is what i am using to check the link from the modem to the plane, but unfortunately it doesnt work. I need to start the sutomatic take off and am just taking forward a project that was started by my colleagues, have no clue to go about it. please guide me if u can
