Quading Vacation (no wheels included)
I recently had a 5 day vacation in the foothills of Alberta Canada and took advantage of the great weather to fly my quad. I was able to make 20 flights in 4 different locations. All locations were very remote. The video includes a failsafe RTL when I try to go to far and loose my radio signal. With winter around the corner it was great to have such an opportunity.
I hope you enjoy

I reduced it to only use up/down.
Emile, The camera mount looks simple & sturdy. Did you design & fabricate it or did you purchase it? Is it possible to see some close-up pictures of it?
My spotter was briefed on the procedures that we would follow in the event of a aircraft.
Emile, thank you for taking the time to collect, edit and upload your video. I enjoyed it immensely!
I especially liked the long continual flight sequences - choppy vids to rawkous muzik does nothing for me.
Keep up the great work!!!!!
excellent video!
thanks for including the details
i get about 6 to 7 min flight time. I always have 1/4 capacity in researve. The floats reduced flight time by about a min. They added 150gr. over the old gear.
The blue foam is from a kids floater toy. I just sliced a hole and stuck in the landing gear strut. I have never tried to land on water with it. it will float but just. I like to think that it won't sink.
Nice :)
How long can you stay up?
Did you check how the floats impact you airtime?
Nice. Can you detail what you've done with those "floats"? Does it float?
Very Nice!
