    This was discussed on another thread somewhere a week or so ago.  I bought one a couple of weeks ago and it look ok but it's not really a "finished solution".  It doesn't come with everything you need to deploy it.  I've attached a picture at the bottom which shows a possible way to spring it off the top of the copter.  It's only a concept at this point though.

    I'd like to add support for deploying a parachute automatically and cutting the engines at some point after 3.0 goes out and settles down.

  • Do you know if this would work with a plane instead of a multiroder?

  • It's just a parachute with a pod. The release mecenism is just a servo. I myself buy rocketman parachutes.
