    If nothing else it looks almost same as logo of diydrones!! except for one of the antenna pod , i don't see much difference. So Chris , you are right , it will make a nice tabletop display piece :)

    BTW tail has a wire skid to prevent prop strike :) but landing won't be any thing gracious :(. Did any one hear nitro engine like sound in second half/

    Hmm... They should've made the kit with real PTZ camera and make it lose 1kg of weight and they would've had a winner. Altough this looks really nice anyways!

    Off topic: It'd be nice if Multiplex or some other big manufacturer would make a completely new RC-sized design with solely UAVs in mind. It'd have lots of room inside the canopy etc. I mean EasyStar is really close to perfect but it's missing ailerons and to be able to have a little bit more payload capacity it should have closer to 2 meters' (or more) wing span... :)

    6lbs without electronics. Can't believe how much open space Chinese have. Since the compound curves are what's killing all western attempts to make this model, you could use it to make a mold for a foam version.

    Nice plane but is too heavy...
    Be aware of prop strike if using large props. Just watch @ 2:29min that great sound!!!

    88 ounces (empty) for an airframe only 42" long?

    You better know what you're doin' when it comes time to land this beauty.
    (it probably doesn't bounce off it's nose like the EZ, thats for sure)


    As far as advertising goes, if anyone manufacturer should thank DIYDrones, it would be Multiplex by far!

    Looking awesome, and i want to buy one.
    But:
    - Very heavy
    - very high wing load
    - Need 40A motor and 50A esc.

    It's 2.500 gram with 32dm2 wing, My handmade glider only 700gr with 40dm2 :(
    Thermal capability very important for long duration flights. It must be 1500gr around with this wing.

    That sucker weighs in a ~6 pounds without anything onboard. Gonna make for a high landing speed!
