Just want to say thanks to Patrick Egan, Gary Mortimer and everyone else who helped organize or support the Expo. And of course to the remarkable array of presenters. I found every presentation to be worth the trip to SF. And the analogy to being in Steve Jobs' garage is, I think, appropriate in this case. Thanks again!
Thanks Phil, the afternoon stream from yesterday is on our channel but it probably is worth waiting for us to cut this up into speaker size chunks and put it up. Hopefully the filming that was also happened went well. I understand http://www.aljazeera.com/ was there as well so you never know it might be on TV ;-)
I listened to the mid morning talks yesterday. Some interesting stuff. Being in the UK, the chances of me getting over there in person are slim, so I'm really grateful that you and SUAS news are putting it on youtube. Couldn't get to see the afternoons talks (about 930 in the evening here) so I'm looking forward to seeing a couple on youtube later on.
Sorry BayAreaCrasher Chris had to do yesterday listen out for this Bat Wing Ornithopter for mission on Mars being mentioned today.
The Expo was great. I'm a little tired from the full days program. We are on again tomorrow with an excellent line up.
Listening to Wierzbanowski on the grim state of affairs in the US - commercial drones use is and will continue to be illegal even on your own property. He does not sound very optimistic. Its unfortunate the nation leading in UAS development and consumption has such primitive, oppressive laws.
More to come, that change caught me out as well!
Everything is being videoed properly as well and will be up on our YouTube channel in time. The next guy, Ted is the man with the keys to the build standards expected of platforms in America going forward.
The live LiDAR demonstration tomorrow should be cool this mornings speakers are on our YouTube channel be gentle its our first attempt at a show and we are the first people to bring streaming of all the speakers for those that can't be there.
Truth be told I can't tell you the relief that its finally happening, lots and lots of work on Patricks part and a great deal of risk for sUAS News.
I'm in rant mode, sorry.

Just caught the end of Chris' talk on the future of farming:
chlorophyll sensing infrared, terrain feature recognition, tractor-linked drones - Great stuff!!
Its now 3pm PST; and Chris is still taking questions. Are the other speakers still on deck, or did they go earlier?
Also, pls update tomorrow afternoon schedule if changed b/c Chris went today - looking forward to Hunsaker from SC
