It's about that time to do another Kickstarter project. With your help, I'd like to find out how well this aircraft will perform. In return, you will get info on how to build your own version depending on the reward level you choose. This is a hybrid of a tricopter and flying wing. Its a built up structure made from mainly Dollar Tree foam. The idea is to have all three motor tilt up for hover takeoff and landings and have them point horizontally for forward flight.
Idea of how the vertical takeoff and landing will work...
This airframe has already completed forward flight tests. The following video is of its maiden flight...
If you would like to see this project funded and have your own info on how this aircraft is built, you can following the below Kickstarter link. Thanks for checking it out.

Hi and thanks. I added a video showing how the VTOL part will work. The aircraft has only completed conventional forward flight tests so far. If the project is funded, then I will add tilt mechanics so that the motors can move for hover takeoff and landings.
It'll be similar to this QuadCopter VTOL model I made except that there will be one motor in the back instead of two and the back motor will be a pusher configuration.
Nice design, but didn't see a VTOL flight. Looks like a tri-plane.
How does the VTOL function?
