You can sometimes get the Mode 1 version in stock more easily. It's easy to convert to a Mode 2, if you don't mind opening the case. I did this on a previous order. Basically you just switch a spring from the left stick to the right stick, and a friction bar the other way around.
I ordered another Mode 2 on Feb 8 (while on backorder status) and it arrived in California on March 12.
you will have to give us all these links.... what is the best flash for quadcopters and so on... this will be next step down the road. is there already a super post with all this in it somewhere?
Glad some more folks are getting these, I am using mine as programed from factory for now, but plan on upgrade to open source firmware and Earl's TM Screen upgrade.
If you order it just dont add enything you need in a hurry. If the order has one small item on backorder thats the lot on hold. This can even happen mid order, I know.
