NavStik users are now using NavStik to build a variety of autonomous systems. Its extremely small size and light weight (4 grams), coupled with a powerful Cortex M4 processor and digital sensors, allow its use in a wide range of autonomous/intelligent mini and micro UAV systems. Users have successfully deployed NavStik on fixed-wing, rotary wing (co-ax), multicopter and flapping-wing MAVs.

Here is the raw video captured during one of the recent quadcopter flight tests:

Users at IIT Kanpur are using NavStik to fly autonomous rotary wing (co-ax) MAVs:

They have also successfully stabilized a flybarless co-ax using NavStik:

More details are available, here: http://navstik.org

If you are using NavStik for any of these applications, we will be happy to help you out!

  • Hey Siddharth! Yes, it very much is. Can you please write to admin@navstik.org with your requirements. Will take it from there.

  • hi nitin... is the project still working? and are there any boards available for tests?? ( i am from Pune )

  • Yes, since this code-base uses MAVLink, it can be configured for any compliant ground control application (MIssion Planner, QGCS, etc.).

  • good job guys and good luck with the project. I'm wondering if this is working with pixhawk code then does it work with ground station application too?

  • Yes, its made in Pune, India! More about Pune: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pune

  • Is this made in india? indian guy who test the board?

  • The way NavStik is mounted on IvyPRO, LEDs show up on the top! Further, the LEDs have been placed on the edge of the PCB, so that they are somewhat visible, even in cases where they are on the bottom.

Yes, there is a fully-functional/tested port available for the pixhawk code (NuttX RTOS). Fixed-wing and multicopters have been successfully flown using this port. Drivers and base-code for ChibiOS RTOS is available, as well.

  • Please move the leds from the bottom, you cant see them if they are there and you mount it to something!

Can this take the pixhawk arducopter, is there a port ?
