I love my Walkera Ladybird nanocopter, which costs $129 and is incredibly fun to fly. But now you can get a clone for just $49, complete with RC unit. This one does flips, too!
BTW, you should check out all the other crazy microcopters in Walkera's UFO line. This is just a sampling:

Crasher: This is not a "clone" in the "exact copy, including use of trademarked name" sense, which is my objection to some of the APM clones. This one is clearly inspired by the Walkera product, but includes some design and performance innovations of its own. Mea clupa for my loose use of the word.
Thanks John, Any other suggestions on a good copter to practice on or is this as good as any other?
@Randy: yes, those small copters are a bit nervous in the air and harder to fly then bigger ones. So it is good practice.
PS: I like it as a toy. Bring it on.
Well, this is a toy not some clone. What is the deal? There have been much more off topic posts here.
Walk on, nothing to see here.
It needs optical flow. :)
I'm new and currently building a a quad.
Would the $50 ladybug be a good choice to practice?
Now, now. Who'd've thunk the former King of (bad) Clones, Walkera, being cloned ? And who will be cloning the cloned clones next ? :-)
A good Moderator will question all content, even that from Chris. APM clones have met with a very frosty reception around here, and perhaps rightly so. But if we are to question APM clones and promote others, is that objective? I will not be entering into a lengthy debate on this, i'm happy to question the promotion of some clones and a negative reception to others.
What sort of Moderator you are Crasher ? You should maintain healthy environment. People will understand what you write but won't be able to make out what was in the thinking, which is not written.
