My two cents
My roommate bought new camera day be4 and I was flying my easy start for the first time with APM
Randy: thats what we are aiming at with our future frames. We want them to be easily and quickly assembled/disassembled. We'll get there :)
I really like the desing of this x525 frame... foldable and cheap.... of course it most likely need some modification but it's a great start...

and even if the quality is low it's hard to get any frame for that cheap!
Distantly related to the 3DR hexa that seems to appear in the picture...if I could take the opportunity to say what I'd like to see in a future frame...a foldable quad that fits into a bag with easily removeable and replaceable blades ('cuz you'd have to put them on/off when you take them out of the bag).
At makefaire Japan there was a guy with a Y that could do that..in Japan in particular, not everyone has cars (although i do) and you get a lot of weird looks if you walk onto a subway with a quad in your hand. A foldable quad that goes into a bag is what people without cars probably need. And it can be lower profile now that APM2 is coming...
If the old west ever did go back to the moon, it probably would be done by a staff of packers, shippers, & secretaries, with a lot of engineers volunteering their own time for free.
Higher res for anyone interested
Hexa 3DR... :) hint to new products!
I like it!
Beautiful quote !
