My bad,  forgot about the two exhaust sticking out on top. :)).

I guess that leaves you with option of airbrakes( may be small one on sides of fuse like in Mig )

Great job!  What a beast!  Love it.

Sure, brake function on gas engine. :) And folding prop...

  • Admin

    Vladimir,

In recent past , there was similar case discussed in another blog. The solution that came up in discussion was use " brake function " in Esc. Hope that might help you in this case too unless you are using folding props( which you are not).

How can I know that you have 30+ years of experience?

Alfred, it's not a problem. Simple ask. :))))

Ask youself - how many people build 5 meter drones? What experience people need to do this?

I understand you, trust me, any problem I seen.

    Sincerely

    Vladimir

  • Vladimir, I'm really sorry.

My mother language is Spanish and I just wanted to help.

How can I know that you have 30+ years of experience?

    Dear Alfred.

I flew RC airplanes ( and sailplanes too ) for last +30 years. You really think I'm idiot and don't know what I need to do?

    Anyway, thanks for suggestions. :))

  • The best would be to use a radio with the dial knob type so you can adjust to taste the amount of flaps to use.
With 1/3 throttle start to add deflection and feel if you need more. Use it when you're gliding for landing.
For take the off you can use very little also.

Flaps induce drag so that can help you to less distance landings.

I pretty know theory, but in practice everything look bit differed. Where and when you try you suggested?

  • With the radio you can make the ailerons to act as flaps.
