What's your screen resolution? - help GCS desing

In order to properly size displays for the ArduPilot GCS it would help to know what screen resolution everyone uses - in the field on their GCS computer (laptop)

Here's the easy way to do it (from Google Analytics report on DIY Drones):

  • my netbook/fieldbook is 1366x768
  • Developer
    My stuff:
    1440x900, MacBook Pro 15.5"
1920x1200, 24' ViewSonic external for Mac

    1366x768, HP-G60 445DX, Notebook PC 16" 16x9
    1280x720 HD-TV external for PC

I suggest these options or slightly smaller:

    Small 832x624 9-12" 9-11" Small Notebooks
Medium 1280x720 12-15" Normal Size Laptops
Large 1920x1200 at home with 19-24" Large desktop or external displays
  • MacBook Pro, 1440x900
  • Desktop : 1920x1200 dual screen
    Laptop : 1920x1080
  • My netbook has an 11.6" screen @ 1366x768. But the 8.9 and 10.1 netbook is where everyone went and has readily available, so the most supported screen resolution to be found indoors or out would be 1024x600, and this resolution also doesn't look bad windowed on a larger screen either.

On a side note, it wouldn't hurt to roll the cost of an XP netbook into a UAV kit, also a netbook is featured on the front page of this website.
