Not a very good video. Doesn't show the latency

I'm working on a pet project and I have everything figured out except this ad hoc wifi idea?
Can anyone tell me in detail how it works and what components I'll need to make it a reality on my prototype?
I just learned about this technology last week and can't wait to build it into my drone.
To clarify I'm not really interested in how to control my drone I'm just interested in the video over ad hoc wifi capabilities. What are the parts I need and where can I buy them?
Stoked!

I just want the RC forklift....
I can't find any other info on that thing, is there some one who have one off this ???
But what's the latency?
nearly $200 aust is a bit much though :(
It's like a Parrot drone without the parrot drone part! Kinda cool.
