Good evening All. Don’t know if I am in the right thread or not but I know someone will point me in the right direction. I have just purchased a new Skywalker 8 (black) and am chasing some spec on the electronics. I have several associated in the cotton growing industry and they have approached me with a proposal to undertake multi spectrum soil and crop analysis photography. I require the specs for-
Motor and prop, folding , low and slow flight speeds.
auto pilot with a very accurate waypoint logging and responce
good radio control unit with reliable and speedy responce
good ‘long life’ batteries.
reliable and accurate gos unit.
now I don’t have a fortune to throw at this project as the main cost lies in the multi spectrum camera. If anyone has any ideas as to what their experiences are in this field all suggestions gratefully received, but I can get one for around 2 grand to start me off and I can upgrade from there, but it is the low and slow operating features that best suit my current requirements.
thanks guys looking forward to your suggestions

Anybody know where to get spares for this plane? Lost the cover in a flight but HobbyKing does not have replacement parts. What a pain in the .....
hey can someone with x8 measure cord length at the root and at the tip of the wing as well as the total length of the fuselage please w/o motor and a max wing chamber thickness? I am trying to build a similar to x8 scratchbuild optimized for my gear and would like to compare my wing design to the x8. would greatly appreciate this info!
thanks

Have a look on my page for pics and details of my project.
So you can easily do 1 hour of flight time.
Post some pics of your rig and the electronics setup.
