Drone flying to non visible point
Hi there,I encountered a problem, while flying in auto mode, with approching to point that was not set by trajectory and is not visible after downloading mission from flight controller by Mission Planner. Does anybody encountered similar problem. The situation is that in the middle flight I stopped the UAV and uploaded new mission and after changing to auto mode it starts to fly in some direction. It goes straight to some point, so I assume it's not mechanical problem. I attached the link to…

I'll never know what happened.
Hi all,
I am installing arducopter 3.02 from the mission planner via usb...that all works really well. What is interesting is that I can't get the GPS to work (or register) in Mission Planner. So I just get a "No GPS" in the right corner. I am using the 433Mhz ArduFlyer UAV GPS Flight Control System' http://www.rctimer.com/product_837.html
I got this to work when I installed it originally a few days ago. It just worked right off the bat. Then I realized that the cables werent soldered very well so I put them together tighter. So now, it GPS lights up, the boards shows that it is 'alive' but nothing seems to register.
I really want to get this going and after sinking a ton of time in to this I am flustered as to what I should do. Anyway, any help/advice would be totally appreciated.
Best to all,
mark
@Dan Barreiro - Yes, try following that link. It should work although it is a little over-detailed. I don't know where this would be in the discussion board.
@ Wayne Morris- I just reposted this in the discussion board, and just saw your comment. Can we continue there? I still don't have a grasp of what's going on, how to even start.
So your saying to follow this link verbatim and it should work? I didn't actually read through it after I saw it was for Ardupilot.
Can we continue on the discussion forum?
Thanks everyone.
@Dan Barreiro - Arudupilot - Arducopter is the same thing. You can use the video. You basically setup three modes using the three position switch. Then you program an offset mix on the two position switch. The offset just moves the signal down to the next position for each of the three position switch settings.
On the flight mode screen adjust the end points using just the three postion switch to get flight modes 1, 3, and 5. Then turn on the second switch and adjust the offset to get positions 2, 4, and 6.
Hi all,
I'm setting up a quad (SteadiDrone) with ArduCopter and a 9ch Tx (JRx-9303).
Everything is up and running, but I'm having a hard time finding a guide on assigning switches in Mission Planner from being all "stabilized" to Stabilize, Acro, Alt hold, Loiter, Simple, RTL.
Like in this video I found here...
Here are my switches as it stands:
I thought this would help, but that's Ardupilot, not Arducopter right?
Thanks in advance guys for any help :)
Dan
Anyone know where I can download Turnigy 9x parameters for HK ST360 ? Thanks.
Has anyone used the condition DO_DISTANCE? What exactly triggers that?
@Andrew re issues with position hold on AC3.0.1, could you come post the logs on the AC3.0.1 release thread?
