Needed for a NG sponsored caving expedition in the Gomantong Caves in Borneo. Will be used for filming and photography, especially the roof structure of the cave which we are interested in but are 100 meter up.

Use an arduino mega. It has 4 uarts so you don't have to use SoftwareSerial. Or hard wire your sd shield to the uart and forget the serial output to your PC.
