no money for real plane flying, instead having fun on manually controlled FPV. having a apm2.0 on my octocopter, now working on autonomous flying: stable but not far away. trying to build a reliable heavy-lift-platform.

"searching for a cheap drive, I tried the 2822-1200 on 3S and found with cheap plastic, non-nylon, GWS-style china props:

11x4.5 produces 11 ounces of thrust at 4 amps,
11x4.5 produces 21 ounces of thrust at 10 amps, (get hot)

I think there is a chance of changing the software, but we need a discussion of the architectural design.
Designing a filter for altitude estimation will say, how many different signal sources do I have, how do they depend on each other?…"

sadly I got no answer, but I thought about starting a thread about altitude calculation.
The last time I had the APM in the air, I had a dozends of stable flights.But there is always a kind of drift in the altitude, e,g, starting loiter…"
