I am trying to find out what the max range on the 3dr radios are. And what is the max watts I can put them too.

I completely understand that but what I'm looking for is a ball park range are we talking 5 10km or just 1 or 2km?

The maximum range of any radio is the result of many elements, mainly antennas and altitude. As for the power output of the 3DR radio, it is listed in the information supplied by them. The max output is 100 milli Watts, but it can be reduced through software if desired.
