I have started to add functions to MinimOsd code.
At first i did it for myself only. Added many functions i thought i need. Then opened this thread.
after a while, Pedro and later Miguel came, and things started to happen fast. :D
They have optimised the code and added even more things to it.
They have worked hard on CT, and it became a great tool!

By now MinimOSD-Extra got a pretty advanced OSD.

This functions can be turned on and off, and placed on different screens now, by the Config. tool.
Also RSSI, switching mode and channel and unit measurement, Stall speed warning, Overspeed warning, Battery warning volt, Battery percent warning, RSSI warning, can be set in new Config Tool.
We built in a new way of setting video standards. Now OSD does not guessing anymore :). You can set it fixed from CT. It is in "Video Mode" menu.

Today I've tested r463c
First video is from 2nd flight:
Notes:
1-Timer should pause during summary presentation (more considerations about this in the next video).
2-Has Lito P already noticed, temperature is shown 10 times greater than it should (I checked that with the telemetry logs).
3-Ground speed is allways zero. Allmost near the end of the flight it starts working. Same happens with distance traveled but that's a consequence since it is calculated based on speed.
4-Some times climb rate shows -0 (zero with negative sign).
5-Latitude and longitude seem to have big time intervals without changes.
Second video (first flight with sencond battery):
Notes:
1-Timer reset worked as it should.
2-Summary keeps updating distance traveled (I wonder if it is calculating distance traveled based on last velocity before summary as been presented).
Seems we have a little bit of work in our hands :)

Had a good flight today:
Panel switching is working
Warnings are turned off
removed panels I wasn't using
Weird thing is those weird temp #'s are back again...I had them working then they stopped and starting showing in the hundreds...it's probably an issue with my setup.
I do not have RSSI configured.

This was on the tricopter that crashed a few days ago - not bad for 20m fall eh?
I turned everything on and squeezed a quick flight in before the sun went down...I'll try to do a more thorough test tomorrow. I'm having trouble with panel switching and not sure what to diagnose. I'm running my MOSD in master mode (no telemetry) hooked into S3 of my Crius.
My recorder battery went dead 5 seconds before I landed (due to cold) so I couldn't get a flight summary. Will try to get more thorough info tomorrow.
Ah well - they can't all be successful flights - I pared down my OSD to just the basics...I liked where at least that was...although - I'm a little curious as to where the temperatures are reading from...I'm in the snow and it was reporting 100 degrees C.

I was able to test r462 last thursday. At 6:20 (9:35 in osd timer) time/distance resets.
I've already digged through the code but can't find a reason to
FTime became = millis() / 1000 (or at least is what it seams).
Can someone help plesase?

I think I'm using the wrong charset... On die config tool I see the symbols AS and GS, but on the actual OSD output, I see FWA and FWB. I've loaded Latest_Charset.mcm, but it still shows wrong. Help? Thanks.
Hello, my battery volages are shown different in minmosd-extra as compared to mission planner.
if mission planner is showing 12.4v , the minimosd will show around 10.3. this is the problem.. any solution?

I downloaded your current MinimOsd-Extra_Pre release_Beta.
And it compiles to 30.704 Bytes of 30.720 Bytes. I am not able to implement anything in 16 Bytes. But i have got an idea. I worked on the I2C code of the EOS Bandi external GPS solution and found out that the interrupt driven serial routines from the multiwii project could save you 1KB!! I stripped them down from the multiwii and implemented them into the I2C code. Maybe it is possible to get rid of that fastserial stuff and do it more byte efficient without loosing any functionality. What do you think, shall i give it a try?
