I updated to the latest version recently (was 3.19 before that) and now it often denies arming because of inconsistent comasses. If I move the dome (external compass is on the dome) around a little suddenly it makes a melody noise and then I can arm.

I'm just shaking the dome, not really changing the directions significantly. So it feels like there is some very narrow sweet spot that I have to randomly hit for it to make that noise and arm.

Is that something someone else have been experiencing with the latest version?

p.s.

I've re-calibrated the compasses at least twice since the update and this issue, doesn't help.

It does  see the true north though! (verified with smartphone compass)

  • Try disabling automatic declination and manually entering yours in. Also check the connection as it almost sounds like a loose wire.

Do both mags show up [both globes populate] when you calibrate?
