Hello Everyone. Thanks in advance for any help.
I have been flying my APM 2.5 Quad for several weeks. Now, when I plug the APM into the USB, the blue light blinks 2-3 times very quickly and the yellow light blinks one time quickly. Then they are both off. The red light never comes on. The two Yellow transmit lights blink and the Green light next to them is on all the time.
Additionally, I am able to connect to MP. When I do a 'Connect' the blue light blinks 7 times and the download of all the variables occurs, but the sensors appear to not be working because the 'Flight Data' tab has all zeros for the Quick fields. When I go to 'Configuration' tab and try to do the 'Radio Calibration' none of the radio channels show anything at all (they are grayed out).
I reloaded the firmware. When I did this the Blue light blinked a lot until the reload was done. Nothing changed, though.
Is there a solution to my problem or is my shiny (almost) new APM bricked?

SOLUTION FOUND!
I looked around and saw that other had the same problem. On other forums there is an issue with the 3.3v Voltage regulator on the board, which makes the APM 2.5 faulty. I emailed 3D robotics and they said that with the tests I tried and screenshots sent of my MP, that the result was the same that the 3.3v Voltage regulator was making the board faulty. (by the way we received this board about a week ago and no flying due to this problem) And told me to send it back to them for a new board, that they will have shipped to us again. (if it is broken once again we may be looking for a different control board till 3D robotics develop their board a bit more)
[summarized solution] Is that the board is faulty to begin with and to contact 3D robotics via help email and send it back. (they are sending me a fedex return label via email)
(By the way the other other forum stated that they replaced the 3.3v Voltage regulator and then the board was fixed by doing so) I'm in no way going to tamper then break our board. Glad 3D robotics helped out, customer service from my experience was ok but email better than phone service IMHO.
I have the same problem, have you done anything with the power input from the MP?
I have what appears to be the same problem. Same sequence of LED's on a brand new APM2.5.
Any thoughts?
Anyone got any ideas? Should I order a new APM?
