Hello,
Thanks again to all the people involved in the APM.
Today had very good success with APM and HK GCS.
Considering the airframe is an EasyStar, I encountered fairly strong/gusty winds, estimate 10-15kts.
Mission consisted of 13 waypoints with different altitudes.
Very pleased with tracking to waypoints while in a headwind and ground speed being very low, less than 5mph! Thinking it may be the DIY Drones Compass.
Happy the GCS worked great except for two things that worked in previous versions didn't seem to work today.
Both issues are probably something I am doing wrong but here they are,
1. Displayed throttle position/percent works in Manual mode but when the APM is switched to Auto-Mission the gcs throttle disappears.
2.The target altitude value doesn't function.

Item #2 is not fixed because there is no field for this in MAVlink. What I think I'm going to do is simply look for the waypoint number message...and when I get it, I'll just display what altitude WP #X indicates. This won't account for any of the advanced change altitude functions in the mission planner.
EDIT: I went ahead and added the target altitude. Look for it in v1.3.6.
